Darren, who is the founder of Poop Scoop Troop and a man who knows the value of hard work and the importance of financial independence, saw a gap in the market that many overlooked. Responsibilities that not everyone has the time or desire to manage. That’s where Poop Scoop Troop comes in, scooping up the problem and leaving behind nothing but satisfaction and a pristine lawn.
The senior-run business was created to fill a gap in the market that many overlooked and help seniors earn extra income. Darren, a lifelong entrepreneur, came up with the idea a when several seniors asked him if he knew how they could make some extra money. This occured at the same time as he was conducting extensive search for the most fitting dog poop pickup services in the area for his own needs. He could only find a couple of such businesses.
To be frank, cleaning up dog feces is not rocket science , with only a very few services offered in Halifax. In fact, when I searched online I couldn’t find anyone offering the service in mainland Halifax.
